Educational fund awards - Each year, the San Diego Chapter awards a scholarship to a qualifying student pursuing or enhancing a career in security management.

Professional development awards - The San Diego Chapter also awards Paid Local Chapter members with an assortment of professional development rewards, from free full registration to the ASIS International Seminar & Exhibits (worth over $700), to free registrations for ASIS International educational programs held in the San Diego area, to free registrations for ASIS International certification review programs.
